FAQS

  • Chemical peels improve the aesthetic appearance of the skin by using specific acids to dissolve the bonds that “glue” dead and damaged cellular debris to the epidermis. Chemical peels can diminish the appearance of fine lines, fade superficial discolorations, improve tactile roughness, assist in the clearance of acne lesions, temporarily slow down sebum production, and restore youthful radiance.

  • There are three steps to a Vi Chemical Peel treatment. The first is the professional appointment carried out by one of our skilled experts. Before your initial treatment, you will have an in-depth consultation to determine which ViPeel fits your needs.

Step two is the application process on the day of treatment. Your Aesthetician will thoroughly cleanse and prep the skin before applying several layers of the peel solution to your skin.

Step three requires an intensive homecare routine that must be carried out for the following 7 days to maximise results.

  • Several key ingredients work together to make this peel the effective, skin-changing treatment that it is. However, not every ingredient is in every peel. Each peel contains a formulated set of ingredients that combine to help treat a specific skin issue.

TCA, Retinoic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Phenol, Vitamin C, Benzoyl Peroxide, Kojic Acid, Hydroquinone, and Hydrocortisone.
